Leaders-in-Training (LIT)

Leaders in Training (LIT) program runs every July and August for 4 weeks, intended for youth ages 14-18.

The program will:

• have experienced GRDO LIT instructors/staff
• provide youth ages 14-18 with volunteer hours which can be used towards high school volunteer hours (1 hour for each class attended)
• provide additional volunteer hours for online assignments related to GRDO activities
• discuss topics such as: leadership, goal setting, communication, program planning, behaviour management, resume writing, and interview skills
• allow youth meet and chat with other youth and students and share ideas and experiences

Duration: 1 session per week for 4 weeks.  Program will be 1 hour each week.
Cost: $30 for the entire 4 week program.  Payment can be made online, full details to be provided to those who are interested.
